The tournament is named the Iron Mike Tournament because the 27 Inch Trophy awarded to the winning team has the “Iron Mike” bust on top. The bust is a nationally recognized representation of an Army Soldier. This is a no handicap three flight tournament. The team with the lowest gross score will have their names engraved on the trophy and keep it in their possession for one year.

On Thursday, June 14, 2012, the Association of the United States Army, Redstone-Huntsville Alabama Chapter will recognize the U.S. Army’s 237th Birthday Celebration with the black tie Army 237th Birthday Celebration. Our guest speaker is to be identified.

 

The Army 237th Birthday Celebration will begin with a cash bar reception at 6:00 p.m. in the North Hall of the Von Braun Center. The evening’s celebration and festivities will continue with a spectacular dinner event including entertainment commencing at 7:00 p.m. in the North Hall of the Von Braun Center.

 

The Army 237th Birthday Celebration provides friends of the U.S. Army the opportunity to celebrate our Army’s rich heritage and to pay tribute to our great Soldiers who are such a vital component of our community.

 

The Redstone-Huntsville Chapter AUSA respectfully requests your sponsorship in demonstrating our support to the U.S. Army and its Soldiers and in spending an evening in celebration with our Soldiers, past and present.
